Hannah and Jock. The first two Conundrum Champions.

"Hannah".....Champion Conundrum Anticipation.

My first Conundrum Champion. Hannah was the consumate showgirl,
showing at the end of a loose lead she always gave 100%.

Jock's litter was the first where I combined the two lines I liked and respected most in Borders. Otterkin and Dandyhow. This worked extremely well for me and I felt I had achieved the look that was to become "Conundrum"
Jock is co-owned by myself and my dear friends Mike Shoreman and Judi Orsi. He lives in Ontario, Canada with Judi and is known as the English gentleman! The above photogrph's show him as a 10 year veteran winning the veteran stakes at the 2004 BTCO National specialty. This dear old lad died in Spring 2011 at 17 years old, he was a trooper!

Cody and Mac

"Cody", Champion Otterkin Blue Angel.
Sire: Scots Guardsman Dam; Otterkin Ruby Tuesday.

Cody came to Conundrum at ten months after I had pestered Kathy (Otterkin) so much she finally gave in!! She was a super dog to show and took a group 2 and 4 as well as her BOB's. She now lives just down the road with Shelley and Bob and is regarded as a little princess. She too is 17 years old and very much still in charge of life at home.

Sire: Champion Conundrum Leveller Dam: Lynsett Yahoo for Conundrum.

Mac went off to Holland as a pup and lives with my friend Johan Withagen and his family. He has been a top show dog in Holland,
I must ask Johan exactly how many CACIB's he has taken in his career!!

Minx is owned and loved by Kathy Wilkinson, whose kennel has played a huge part in the making of my own. Kathy and Ronnie came and picked Minx when she was 8 weeks and off she went to start her life at Otterkin.
She came out at 6 months at the Scottish Border Terrier club Limited show...she took BIS!!
The rest as the saying goes is history.

"Eddie", USA, Finnish Champion Conundrum Carpe Diem
Sire: Otterkin Lyricist   Dam: Otterkin Mystery within Conundrum

Eddie was bought by Tuija and Seppo Saari of the famous Foxforest kennel in Finland. He did a lot of winning for them and then went to the USA where he was campaingned to his US title by Judith Rivers.
He went back to Finland and is now retired and living life to the full as a companion and stud dog.

I am especially proud of him! He lives in Norway with Siri Grotterod a good friend of mine. Siri is very keen on Borders being able to do the job they were bred for and all her dogs are tested in working trials. Troll comes from a very "work oriented" line, his mother was a very good worker and his sister Twist also. I have been proud to show Troll in Norway and spend some great times with Siri and her dogs.

Rosie as she is known at home, lives in Northern ireland with
Ian and Anne Higham, who took her at 8 weeks to live the good life with them.
Doing everything in style in her life she took her first CC with BOB at Crufts 2006 under
breeder judge Ms Jean Singh. She has 4 CC's to date.
According to Ian we may hear the patter of tiny feet ere long, and we await this event with bated breath!
